Holy Archangels House of Ascent
The brotherhood would like to invite you to visit Saint Michael's Skete. The Holy Archangels House of Ascent includes seven rooms: 3 small bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room, and a larger public living area. It should be noted that one of the bathrooms is only accessible through one of the bedrooms. The public living area includes a kitchen (with dining table) and a living room with a fireplace and comfortable seating. In our opinion, the view from the living area is spectacular and we hope you will get a chance to see it sometime. The guesthouse includes a small library of Orthodox Christian books that guests can read while they visit, as well as a small bookstore for those who wish to take something home with them. Please note: St. Michael's Skete has always held and continues to hold a "No Minors Policy": we do not permit unaccompanied minors to remain on the grounds. If you have further questions please feel free to contact Hieromonk John. In order not to have too many visitors at a time, we also ask that you call in advance to schedule your visit. Visitors are invited to use the guesthouse kitchen, which contains many staples, but we ask that you provide your own perishables during your stay. Please direct all correspondence related to the guesthouse to Hieromonk John, who also serves as guest master in addition to his other duties. Again, we must mention that we are very grateful to those who worked so hard to make the guesthouse a reality. |
